SCORE (“SCORE”, “we”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on its website to keep it secure, remember your choices and understand how it is used. This cookie policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use and how you can control them.
When you first visit, our consent banner lets you accept, deny or customise your choices. By continuing to use the website, you agree to the practices described in this cookie policy.
1. What This Cookie Policy Covers
This cookie policy applies to all pages of the SCORE website. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle any personal data that cookies may collect.
2. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They help the site function, remember your choices and tell the site owner how the site is being used. Similar technologies include pixels, tags and local storage. First-party cookies are set by us, while third-party cookies are set by outside services we use.
3. Why We Use Cookies
Our cookies help us keep the website secure, make forms work, remember your consent choices, see which solutions, case studies and articles interest visitors, and improve speed and design. We do not use cookies to make automated decisions that significantly affect you.
4. Categories of Cookies
- Strictly necessary: These support core functions such as page navigation, form submission, security and saving your cookie preferences. The site cannot work properly without them, so they cannot be turned off.
- Preferences: These remember choices such as language or region so you do not have to repeat them on every visit.
- Statistics: These show us how visitors reach and move around the site, which pages they view and where errors occur. The data is generally aggregated and does not name you.
- Marketing: Where used, these measure the success of our outreach and may display relevant content on other platforms. They are placed only with your consent.
5. How Long Cookies Last
Session cookies disappear when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay on your device for a fixed period or until you remove them. Our cookies typically last from a few minutes to twelve months, depending on their purpose.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies come from analytics providers, embedded maps or videos, and professional networks such as LinkedIn. We do not control these cookies, and each provider’s own policy governs how it uses the data. We encourage you to read those policies for details.
7. Cookie Policy Settings and Controls
You can control cookies in several ways:
- Our banner: Choose Accept, Deny or View preferences on your first visit. You can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.
- Your browser: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and others let you block, limit or delete cookies. Their help pages explain how.
- Provider opt-outs: Some providers, such as Google Analytics, offer browser add-ons that stop data collection.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site, including forms, from working properly.
8. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. Because no common standard exists for responding to them, our cookie policy does not currently act on these signals, but you can manage cookies using the options above.
9. Cookies and Personal Data
Where a cookie collects personal data, we handle that data under our Privacy Policy and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We seek your consent before placing any non-essential cookie. Use of this website is also subject to our Terms and Conditions.
10. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this policy as technology, law or our practices change. The latest version, with its updated date, will always appear on this page, and we will ask for your consent again where the law requires.
